What evidence shows is that the US should use the metric system

The us should begin to use the metric system because it we would be able to communicate measurements with people all around the world instead of converting the measurements. For example, if we had to ask a person in China, who is manufacturing our flooring and we want to know how much it would be for 1 foot of flooring we would how to convert it back and forth.
