After the Yalta Conference and the Postdam Conference, the Soviet Union exerted big influence and control over Poland and expanded its Communist form of Government into East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Rumania, Albania, and Hungary. We are talking about the beginning of the differences and confrontation that led these two countries into the Cold War years.
