What would possibly happen without Red Army intervention in postwar Eastern Europe

    The red army intervention in post war Europe was a defiance of the agreement the soviet union had with the other allies led by the USA. It was agreed that the allies would not seek territories and would allow for free and fair elections as well free market economies in the countries.
