Why did the end of ww1 bring such turmoil to the us?

Sorry i am late but this is what i know.

The end of WW1 brought such turmoil to the U. S because of how the war played out it was so much screaming and blood every where and some people's house were destroyed in the war. People were scared that if they went into another war they wouldn't have anywhere to hide.
