    The answers are India and Hongkong. Both countries became strategical places to strengthen its economic power in Asia.

    Hongkong became a base of Britain's power to China. However, the British only had a certain time for 99 years. As early as 1600 the British East India Company India has been already established in in India. It became a place of trade and a source materials in the business. It was on the 1800s when it gained political power and widened trade.
