What did the cool tempered John Adams say about the Boston Tea Party?

    John Adams reacted very calmly and said "There is a Dignity, a Majesty, a Sublimity, in this the last Effort of the Patriots, that I greatly admire". This tells us that he was proud of the patriots for showing their desire for representation in government.
