Why do you feel it is important that both house of representatives and senate agree to a bill before it is sent to the president?

    It's important because they are elected officials that represent their constituents so they should have a voice so the people that voted them in can have one too

    Because the House of Representatives and the U. S Senate still believe the bill should become a law, they can hold another vote on the bill. If two-thirds of the Representatives and Senators support the bill, the President's veto is overriden and the bill becomes a law.
