How did the Monroe Doctrine differ from Adams's fourth of july Address?

    Adam's Address only included not fighting their battles and not interfere. The Monroe Doctrine stated that Western Hemisphere was off limits and European powers interfering with Western Hemisphere would be considered a hostile act
