Reformers fought to end the system of apartheid, which limited the rights of black Africans

    Explanation:

Apartheid policy was a segregationist policy against non-white citizens of south upheld by legislation. It limits the rights of black south Africans.

Under apartheid, black South Africans which are majority of the population were forced to lived in separate areas from the white and use public facilities, limiting the activity of non-white labor unions and denies participation in national government and contact between two groups were limited. This segregation began in 1948 after the National party came to power, the party instituted white supremacy which empowered white south Africans who are descendents from Dutch amd British settlers and disenfranchising black Africans.

Reformers are resistance to apartheid and they took several actions such as protests, strikes to political actions and even armed resistance. Several groups like ANC and a group group calling itself the Congress of the people organized a mass meeting in 1952 and adopted a freedom charter in 1955 asserting that "South Africa belongs to all who lives in it, black or white".

Nelson Mandela was a fore front resistance reform fighter against this policy, he was incarnated from 1963-1990, and his imprisonmemt drew international attention amd Garner support for the anti-apartheid cause and reformers
