A sea route to Asia across North America (A)

    Explanation:

The Northwest passage is the sea route that leads the sea to the pacific ocean and it connects the Atlantic ocean with the pacific ocean through the Canadian Arctic archipelago (north America). the eastern route that passes through the arctic ares of Norway and Siberia is considered as part of the northwest passage.

The Northwest passage have always been impossible to navigate after its discovery by explorers because it is always frozen i. e the sea was always iced for the whole year.

It was navigated for the first time from 1903 to 1906 by a Norwegian explorer

Roald Amunsden. and it served as a route to Asia from North America for ships who didn't require an ice breaker to navigate through. and this was the main purpose of the explorers.
