President Abraham Lincoln suspended some constitutional rights during the Civil War. Should constitutional rights such as freedom of speech and the press, and the right to be held in jail only if you are charged with a crime, ever be suspended? Why or why not?

    No! Those rights are for everyone so people with a higher status couldn't take them away - so everyone was equal in that same way. The founding fathers created this country on them and people's rights are the things that are supposed to never be taken away.
