American interest in hawaii, china, cuba and other locations around the world originated because they wanted the commercial control of the countries because of their resources and their strategic location, in addition that they did not want other powers to take over those nations, the US wanted to expand commercially and for that it was necessary to open new markets, but to propitiate it, it was not resorted to free trade or economic competition, with exchange of goods and products with other countries, but the army was used to achieve these commercial desires. The business world saw in the violent way a quick and practical way to achieve great benefits. The possible rivals were taken out of the way, the reluctant countries and populations were bowed down and the costs of the war machine were paid to the whole population. The war became a big business that has not stopped working since then.
