Explanation:
The industrial workers faced long hours in dangerous working conditions and low wages. Women earned less than half of the wages men earned, even though they both worked in the same conditions. Children earned a quarter of what both women and men earned. This was often the cause of child labor, which forced children into working 24/7 but only earning a little.
