    Inviolability

According to the Fourth Amendment, every American citizen has the right to inviolability. This means that cases where search and seizure mandates (including imprisonment) are required should be limited in scope, based on specific information transmitted to the issuing court, usually by a bailiff.

The Fourth Amendment states that "The right of the people to the inviolability of their persons, houses, papers and property, against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be infringed and shall not be issued except by evidence of guilt, confirmed by oath or declaration, and in it the place of the search and the persons or things to be apprehended will be particularly described."
