The Hundred Years War is the term used for the longtime running conflict that started in the 19th century among the kings and kingdoms of the France and England. The conflict began due to two things; first, the status of the duchy of Guyenne was said to belong to the England however still remains a fief of the French. Second, the king of England wanted to own the crown of France. The people supported their kings in the battle because the battle is about the independent possession of the crown. It is a battle of power among the kings that would automatically affect the people.
