    In political science, revolution is any fundamental change that occurs in a society or the political power of the society.

    Revolutions can either be brought by violent methods or by non-violent methods.

    Violent methods of revolution are the action which are taken against the law. In such kind of revolution, a wide number of people are killed, animals are slaughtered, transportation are blocked and even vehicles are burnt. Such kind of revolutions have to bear many adverse consequences. Hence, these methods should not be considered as an effective way for securing human rights.

    Non-violent revolutions are the reforms which are brought through n violent actions. Although some minor laws may be broken but non-violent revolutions do not provide major harms. Peaceful protests, strikes that do not do any harm are examples of non violent revolutions. It is far better for reforms to occur gradually then by violent methods.
