The USA was adventuring into a new frontier. A war they didn't start but went into nonetheless. Many US bankers loaned money to European states, particularly the entente. So the US favored the Entente more trying for a victory. Soon because of Zimmermanns telegram and mounting innocent US casualties. The US took off their gloves and went into war. The economy went up like lightning, as so many soldiers prepared to march off into war ...
