    False

    Explanation:

Meiji Reconstruction is a complex of political, military and socio-economic reforms in Japan from 1868 to 1889 that have transformed the backward agricultural country into one of the leading countries in the world.

The restoration is the transition from a feudal system with a shogun at tha head by an immediate imperial authority led by Emperor Mucuhito and his government.

Renewal policy has significantly influenced the political system, legislation, imperial court, provincial administration, finance, industry, diplomacy, education, religion and other walks of life of ordinary Japanese. With the Meiji Restoration, the formation of a modern Japanese national state began, as well as a Japanese national identity.
