    They don't get much freedom of day during trial unless asked to, other than that, it's forbidden for them. The "culprit" either is decided to be guilty of innocent, and if they are guilty, depending on the severity of the crime, they are punished, whether it be death of living in prison for a given amount of time. If the person is innocent, then they are set free; sometimes, in special cases, they remove the experience from their documents, but not always.
