Why might some students feel that

requiring the Pledge of Allegiance and flag

salute in school may violate their religious

beliefs or right to freedom of speech?

    Because some muslin student's do not believe in GOD as mentioned in the pledge, so standing up to it shows that they support/believe, causing them to sin.
