What is an example of a benefit of government involvement in the economy

    An example is that governments can subsidise or provide goods with positive externalities. They have the opportunity to gain an education, which has a strong social benefit.

    Food stamps is one. child support is another. (even though the significant other pays, they wouldn't without the governments push)
