Urbanization was caused largely because of the immigrants coming to America.

    Explanation:

In the 19th century, there was a rapid development of cities with lots of immigrants in the cities. There were people from around the world who migrated to America, be it people from Germany, Ireland, Scandinavia or Britain. There was cultural diversity and various languages were spoken around the nation.

There were industrialists who attracted cheap labor. Immigrants promised to vote for an individual in lieu of a stable job. So, they led a better life and in spite of diversities in culture and language. There was the growth of these cities and business giants like robber baron grew strong. There was economic expansion in this era. Robber barons is a term used for 'captains for the industry' who would also use unethical method to grow their business and earn wealth.
