It was better than he articles of confederation because the articles of confederation gave more power to the states, and not enough power to the federal government. this made collecting taxes harder because each state had their own type of currency, therefore making it difficult to pay shoulders fighting in the revolutionary war. the constitution had more order and brought us three branches of government.
