Caesar improved the infrastructure, like building new structures, rebuilding cities, et cetera. His most famous military accomplishment was conquering Gaul (modern-day-around France), and on the home front he tried to reform the senate, though that probably didn't have a positive effect, given his dictatorship and love of power.
