    He is ... Randolph Peter "Pete" Best, is an English musician, was an original member of the band, and first drummer of the Beatles, from the years 1960 until 1962. Pete is known like the Fifth Beatle. He joined the Beatles on August 12, 1960, when the Beatles invited them, just before the first season of clubs in the city of Hamburg. Brian Epstein, the group's director, fired Pete Best after his first recording at Abbey Road Studios, and since then, Ringo Starr was part of the Beatles in 1962.
