Howard Zinn views the founding fathers as extremely greedy for money and power, and selfish. He is extremely left-leaning and very critical of America's history. He believes that the Founding Fathers were hypocrites, because they fought for freedom and inalienable rights, yet they did not grant those to the Native Americans, African Americans and women.
