What was one main difference between the northern and southern armies

    If referring to the civil war armies, then a main difference was supply abilities.

    Explanation:

    North was all about big cities and factories, whereas the South focused on agriculture. Meaning, once the North started to burn Southern lands they didn't have much else unlike the North who had supplies from factories and such.
