    Answer: The Roman Empire built itself up through territorial expansion, America's influence and expansion through diplomatic power in the world.

The Roman Empire sought to dominate in every way possible, and they did not hesitate to reach for all potential methods that came their way because of their goals. America is currently expanding, but different principles and practices are different as America expands its influence in a civilized way. So if we look at the historical context, it isn't straightforward to draw a parallel between the two examples. America seeks to expand its political influence through its politics, and because it is the military force of the world. What is certain is that America has not been the most substantial economic power in the world for some time, according to many economists statistics China's economy is the strongest.
