Why was charles pinckney elected as representative of south carolina?

    Pinckney was elected lieutenant in South Carolina's militia in 1779. He was born in South Caroline and he had the idea that the government had failed the people so they were untitled to form a new government., this might motivate him to become, later on, a founding father of the US.
