The Indo-European nomads who filtered into India following the collapse of the raczanotion were known as 'Aryans'.

    Explanation:

The nomadic tribes that first originated in the steppes of Russia preferred migrating further west owing to the unavailability of resources and the prevalence of wars and violence. In their movement westwards, they reached Mesopotamia and settled there in large numbers.

Later in time, few large groups of people left Mesopotamia to travel south-eastwards. Some of these groups settled down in Persia. The nomad groups that crossed the present-day River Indus to enter into the Indian subcontinent came to be known as Aryans. The name Aryans came from Sanskrit 'Arya' meaning noble people.
