Why is the french relationship with the united states so good?

    Since the revolutionary war the French aided America by resisting the British control over the thirteen colonies. They trained American militia men to fight the British. Then when War World one & to arrives. The US supplied France with military supplies & some American men went to fight for the French military. This created a powerful bond between the two nations.
