    Overview of Christian history

According to bible jesus christ was captured tied and sentenced to death by Pontius Pilate, a Roman governor after he issued the order to destroy jesus after being threatened by Jewish officials who believed that Jesus was guilty of a variety of crimes, including heresy. Jesus was crucified in jerusalem by roman soldiers and his body was left in tomb. Three days following his crucifixion, Jesus' body was missing.

One major similarity between the belief of Judaism and Christianity is that they are monotheistic religions, i. e., they believe in only one God. The major difference that make them different in terms of ritual and belief that Christian rituals include Sacraments, including Baptism and Holy Communion. Jews Rituals include the Circumcision, Barmitzvah and Sabbath.
