    troops will not be quartered (housed) in private citiezens' houses.

    the first ammendment was freedom of speech, press, assembly, religion, and govt petition

    the second ammendment was right to bear armms

    the founrth ammendment was potects against unreaasonable search nand seizure (need search warrant)

    The Third Amendment (C) is in direct response to the Quartering Act which was imposed by the British during Colonial Times. The Third Amendment prohibits soldiers from being quartered in the homes of Americans without their consent in times of peace.
