    One thing that created a greater sense of colonial ties to Britain was British Victory in the French Indian War. The French and Indian war was a war that fought between the British America and New France. The war started in 1754 and ended in 1754.

    In this war both sides were supported by the militaries of their sides along with the Native American allies. In this was British American side was more powerful as they had 2 million colonies as compared to French colonies.

Both European powers fought for the control of more territory beyond the Ohio region and the dispute became an international one when European countries such as Prussia and Spain entered the war scene in was then known as the Seven Year War. The British won the war and signed the Treaty of Paris in 1763. This victory created a greater sense of colonial ties to Britain.
