    The ways women's rights activists petitioned for the right to vote were in letters, in marches, talks, and by organizing themselves to let the government they were a big amount fighting for the cause.

    Explanation:

    The reasons behind this answer are that in the first place boh men and women fought for this cause. Second, they did almost everything to be heard and to achieve success in their fight. They went to the congress, to the white house, to their local governments, they wrote letters, talked on radio stations, television, they marched several times in different cities, they spoke to society and the government. But the most effective strategy they used was to be a group.
