Who is St. Francis of assisi

St. Francis of Assisi was an Italian Roman Catholic friar and preacher.

St. Francis of Assisi is a Catholic Saint, and one of the most venerated Saints ever. He founded many religious orders, like monasteries, and received the stigmata from God. Stigmata is piercings in his hands, feet, head and side, just like Christ at the crucifixion.
