Why did some Americans oppose the war in Vietnam?

    Many Americans believed that they were interfering too much in other countries' affairs. In addition, they were losing millions of young men to the Vietnamese soldiers. Many of these deaths looked like a waste, as the US did not seem to winning any ground against Vietnam.
