How did the Industrialization of countrues like france britian and germany influence the war

The modern industrial economies of the three powers allowed for scientific and technological advances that led to increasingly powerful and more lethal systems of weapons (more potent cannons, new warships, the first war airplanes, devastating gun machines and poisonus gas, for example). It also was the basis for mobilizing and keeping large armies in 1914-1918. WWI produced the horrendous figure of 40 million casualties, half of them dead, something never seen before in history.
