Why did the Iroquois at Albany refuse to make an alliance against the French?

They expected the French to defeat the British in a war.

They expected France to give up its land in North America.

They did not believe France and Britain would go to war.

They trusted France more than Britain.

    "They trusted France more than Britain" would be the best option as to why the Iroquois at Albany refused to make an alliance against the French, since the French had, in general, had much better relations with the Natives than the British had.
