Discrimination in the age of post-civil rights legislation can be caused by a number of potential factors to include, lack of education, inherent bias, or willful disregard for the reality of equality among all men and women. Although there could be a number of potential reasons why, the causes are almost countless. The human psyche has never been known to be perfect but the willful disregard of equality regardless of color seems to be an enduring quality that has come a long way since original pieces of legislation were enacted but more needs to be done to counter the enduring causes of discrimination.
