Was Napoleans rise to power a cause or effect or the revolution? Explain.

    The correct answer is the effect. His rise occurred after the revolution and what he did was lead the armies of the revolutionaries. He didn't actually care about the revolution, he just wanted power and they approached him because he was a great general. He later tricked them all and seized power and had everything the way he wanted.
