The industrial revolution happened in different countries around Europe from the 18th century to 1870. It generated a big amount of products resulting in the need of looking for new international markets where these products could be sold.

One of the countries used for expanding the economical growth was Africa but the interests from the European countries stated a conflict due to the need from all of them to enter this market.

This situation created a lot of tension between them and almost a war. As a result of it all the countries started arming themselves waiting for the moment when they would have to attack. During this period the European countries focused on learning how to attack and all about the new technology in arms and strategy.

All this process was going to led the countries into bankrupt so a lot of different initiatives where put into place in order to stop it. Unfortunately it was too late and the different countries had already formed allies in case of a war.

All these tensions ended in the WWI
