They were mainly assigned the task of protecting the Native Americans, wagon trains, and stagecoach in the Western front of America. They served as a large portion of American army and fought for them with valor and courage.

    Thus they were offered special training and compensations from the American Government. Seven African American WWII soldiers were honored by the Medal of Honor by Bill Clinton. They were integrated equal treatment in military by The Executive Order initiated by Harry Truman, the President.
