Describe the three branches of government created by the new constitution.

    Legislative:

    The Legislative branch makes the laws. It is made up of members of Congress, which is split into the Senate and the House of Representatives.

    Executive:

    The Executive branch is made up of the President, Vice President, and Cabinet. This branch carries out the laws.

    Judicial:

    The Judidical branch, made up of the Supreme Court and other Federal Courts, interprets the laws.
