Statements that correctly describe a difference between Renaissance and Medieval art are 1 and 3.

Renaissance (14th - 17th century) is called this way - - it means Rebirth - - because scholars of then went back to reading literature from classic Greek and Rome and took inspiration from it. This led to renovation in politics and to the creation of political science with Macchiavelli's The Prince, as to renovation in art with the creation of new techniques.

Renaissance paintings use classical Greek ideas of beauty and harmony. They also took inspiration from increasing anatomy studies which contributed to knowledge about the human body.

Because of this and also because of their concern with perspective these paintings portrayed humans in a more realistic way.
