    the the Eastern Africa region has freely with a variety of energy sources for a sustainable environment and development. The energy sources are widely distributed throughout the whole region including hydro materials wind biomass solar etc. despite all of this the region's energy zone remains mostly undeveloped and is extremely low levels of modern energy sources and access the access in the electricity in rural areas across the region is less than 1% in rural areas biomass contributes about 90% of all of the energy taken and used in most of the eastern African countries it provides most of the energy sources needs for basic energy such as cooking and water.
