It depends on what side you were on, if you were American at the time it would have been Allies. But if you were German at the time it would have been Axis. It all depends on perspective.

History is told by the winners and the survivors. If the nazis had conquered earth our perception of them might be very different. But in my personal opinion, the allies were right, the fight against genocide and conquerors, the pursuit of freedom. It sounds nice to me
