Bush try to fix the economic recession by putting federal tax cut for all taxpayers for the economy and also to create jobs.

he instituted a federal tax cut for all taxpayers reports of a threat of recession, Chairman Alan Greenspan said tax cuts could work but should be offset with spending cuts. Bush disagreed and said that such a tax cut would stimulate the economy and create jobs.
