Which Eastern European nations tried to gain independence from the Soviet Union in the 1950s?

    The most known one is Hungary.

    Although Hungary was not really a soviet union state but rather a satellite state, it was still being controlled by Soviet politicians and when they wanted to become independent in the 50s the Soviets sent their troops to end the coup which is what happened since their tanks were unstoppable by the common people of Hungary.
