    A. - this is a true, but at least in wrting the government is not autoritarian. Still, I think that this is the best answer is the government definitely became more authoritarian and this is a great threat to democracy.

    b. nationalization (the transfer of ownership to government) does yet mean that there is less democracy

    c. this also does not say anything about democracy

    d. he did this, and it does limit democracy, but not as much as a. if the president is still democratically elected.
